How to Apply
We currently have three main features that we take applications for: models, artists, and businesses. Check out below for all our application info! Applying for one doesn’t preclude you from the others, so apply to whichever feature(s) fit you best!
Female Models
We feature three fabulous women every month! Our only three requirements to be a featured female model are: (1) you are female presenting or consider yourself feminine leaning; (2) you have at least three tattoos OR at least 10% of your skin covered in ink; and (3) you are 18 years of age or older. Male Models
We feature one incredible man every month! Our only three requirements to be a featured male model are: (1) you are male presenting or consider yourself masculine leaning; (2) you have at least three tattoos OR at least 10% of your skin covered in ink; and (3) you are 18 years of age or older. Previous Models
Because we love seeing where our previous models are now, we also have a reapplication for former models! Disclaimer: new models have double the chance at being selected and no one can win Skinspiration two years in a row. Click HERE to reapply.
Nominate an Artist
We have two different ways for a tattoo artist to be featured: the first is nomination! Nominate your artist by filling out THIS application. Please note that all artists must be 18 years of age or older (not gender specific). We do require the artist’s permission to feature them and their work. The Artist Release Form can be found HERE and needs to be attached as part of the nomination form.
Artist Application
Tattoo artists can also apply to be featured on their own without a client nomination. All artists we feature must be 18 years of age or older and we feature artists of any gender. Women in Business
If you are female presenting and run your own business, we want to hear from you! Email us at business@aosmag.com and tell us all about you and your business for a chance to be one of our Women in Business Features (must be 18 years of age or older).
