We run contests throughout the year and we’d love for you to join us! Many of our contests are open to EVERYONE 18 years old or older! Check out below for current, past, and future competitions!

Skinspiration 2025

Who is Art on Skin Magazine’s Skinspiration of 2025? You decide! First, you’ll pick your favorite model from each of our issues, then you’ll pick your Skinspiration! The winner will get a full picture spread, a rerun of their bio (along with another photo page), and the only solo cover of the year for our December issue. Each issue favorite will get a rerun of their bio and a photo page. Winners must be willing to submit additional photos. 

This competition is open only to featured models from 2025. Previous Skinspirations cannot re-enter Skinspiration within two years.

SpookTATstic 2025

Congratulations to Brandon Smith for having the most SpookTATstic Tattoo of 2025!

This black and grey illustrative piece sends shivers down our spines as two creepy clown heads ignite our coulrophobia. The detailed linework and shading is exquisite and the use of skin breaks to let the tattoo breath only serves to bring this frightening duo to life. With one clown sporting a menacing grin and glinting eyes and the other having a vacant look and an insincere smile, we can literally feel the menace of these Halloween classics.

National Tattoo Day Sweepstakes

To make National Tattoo Day a month long event, we’re celebrating all of July! You already know about the Best Ink Competition, but we’re also having a random Sweepstakes in honor of our favorite artform!
 
Winner gets: Gets a pass to the finals of Skinspiration, a special feature in our July Issue (winner must be willing to fill out an informational survey to make sure we can write an appropriate feature), receives an AOS shirt or tank top, a copy of the July Issue of Art on Skin Magazine, and an automatic pass to the finals of 2025’s Skinspiration finals!

  • Applying to be either a model, returning model, artist, or woman in business (if you were a model already this year and don’t fit one of the remaining categories, you can check this box and include a screenshot of the Issue cover you were in)
Proof of which of the above you did needs to be included in this entry form. Entries have to be in the United States for shipping purposes. Submissions are welcome from now until July 16th. Random drawing will be on July 17th (National Tattoo Day). Everyone 18 years of age or older is welcome to apply. We request that the winner send us a picture wearing their shirt or showing off their magazine so we can include them in later issues!
